The Masterpiece
Since finishing the five-part story about my husband’s stroke and brain surgery, I feel the need to re-post the other stories I’ve written about his health, which were emailed to only a small portion of my current subscribers.
Below is the story I posted in February about his first open-heart surgery in 1987, two years before the events detailed in my five-part story, “Remembering A Scar.”
My apologies to those who have already read this story. You get the week off and my eternal gratitude for being an early supporter of my writing!
