Thanks, Brenda! I'm glad you got it. I was a little worried that no one would!

You are so very clever. Throughly enjoyed. I have sleeping issues too. I sleep for two to four hours a night and then I’m up. After a few days of this I’ll be able to sleep but then the cycle starts again. My so tells me it’s because I’m old. 😂

Thank you, Monica! I was hoping I was being clever and not stupid! I am the same way with the cycles. I try hard to avoid it, but no matter what I do.... I blame age too!

Is it a coincidence that today is World Sleep Day?! I could relate to this. My brain is super active in the night sometimes and it’s quite frustrating.

Thank you, Shital! YES, it IS a coincidence. I had no idea it was World Sleep Day! Well, that just makes me feel in tune with nature in my sleep-deprived state. Ha! I agree, it's very frustrating!

Fun piece, Cherie! I get lack of sleep…seemingly never ending and Forrest’s run through many moments in history… and I love the song; runny on empty is something I say when the energy just isn’t a there somedays! 😄But I feel like I’ve missed something with your teaser yesterday and the great quotes today. 🤔🤪🤓Help me out!

Thanks, Joan! Did you watch the video? It should connect the quotes and the photo. Let me know if not. Be sure to watch at the 3:30 mark on the left - you should see the photo. And then the last couple of sentences in my story reflect what Forrest says at the end of the video.

yes, watched both videos and stopped at the markers. And his words at the end...it all reflects on lack of sleep, feeling like you're running from so many head thoughts, tired and wanna go home. Overthinking it, perhaps...I'm pretty literal! LOL

I think you've got it! Sorry if the teasers were misleading. Kind of an experiment this week. I appreciate you checking it all out, Joan!

I loved this! And I know the feeling so well! I have a weird trick for when nothing helps, I imagine a big cake on a table outside, and a spoon in my hand. Then l concentrate really hard eating it piece by piece😄🍰

Hope you manage to start sleeping better soon. I have had times when I couldn't sleep and it is horrible.

It's strange how sometimes you can sail along with a lot on your plate and cope fine and other times it floors you. Not sure why. State of mind at the time? Confidence? Not sure. I try to switch off from everything at bed time and block out intrusive thoughts (easier said than done.) After all, nothing can be sorted until the morning and everything looks a lot better then too.

Thanks, Jane, and thanks for the restack too! You are so right - everything looks better in the morning and it's so easy to forget that!!

Read a gal keeping a sleep record, last meal, did she exercise, what time electronics off...not sure if it clears the way to make adjustments. My husband healing so its been being lazy, eating too much, not much outdoors, his constant up and down. II am ready to take off running with Forest. I did add magnesium. But some days I still roll out at 4am. Time for a nap.😉

Thanks, CJean! Good luck with that nap. Yes, magnesium helps and a good long run with Forrest (or without) would help too. Sounds exhausting though! 😂

It was the Jackson Browne quote that drew me in. Haven't listened to him for quite a while
